How do I fix this hot water pressure issue? Recently renovated house, just replaced the 15 year old hot water heater, but the hot water pressure (not cold) is still terrible… looking for options!
2 story house with a finished basement. Hot water pressure in the basement is amazing. Once you get to the main floor it’s terrible. The upstairs hot water pressure is garbage and unusable if any other faucet is running hot water. Funny enough, the cold water pressure is amazing on all floors.
How should we proceed to fix this? Is the only option ripping our walls and cabinets apart and replacing hot water pipes? Is this an issue of “too many bends”, is it a blocked pipe? What would you do?
The first company I contacted said they were not interested in doing this job.
