Quantum mechanics tudy advice needed!
Hey everyone! I’m currently surfing the internet in order to forge a study plan and I would really appreciate some help.
I’m a statistics major and have a pretty good command of math. I’ve also had a pretty cool Data science job in recent years and saved some money to go back to university to study quantum physics.
For now it’s just a long ongoing fascination with PBS spacetime and like-minded channels but I’m kinda rock solid on the fact that I’m ready to give away 2-4 years of my life and maybe even get a new degree and potentially change careers.
Any advice on how to go deeper? Do I need to go back to get a new bachelors degree or it’s more optimal to get certain courses in a year or so and go for a masters in physics? Which particular courses would be the most relevant in the curriculum?
I’m ready to put in the required work but a bit lost. Ready to answer further questions in comments.
Thanks!
