No mini-chests spawning in area #199

I've been farming in area #199 trying to complete quests. I've got a quest that requires me to break 5 mini-chests. I've been here now for 2 hours and NONE have spawned.
These mini-chests used to spawn frequently prior to the backrooms update being released. I've tried server hopping 5 times now.
Is anyone else having this issue? Have they changed the spawn rate of mini-chests?
