Disrespecting our holy book the Quran?

Almost all decent hotels have a prayer mat in their rooms if someone wants to pray. Most of them have a Quran somewhere in the drawer or cub-board as well. Not sure if hotel management or may be some previous guest leave it behind. But I was always able to find one or both in any hotel i have ever stayed in pakistan or any other muslim country, no matter what shaddy business goes alongside.

So I usually visit this hotel in multan with my “friend” and over time this place has become our safe zone. It’s a couple friendly hotel so I always find NSFW stuff under the bed or over the cub-board etc etc. finding used cans of bear or alcoholic items is also pretty common, Im now almost a friend with the house keeping so never made it an issue.

But this time it was too much. I was casually looking around the room, I open the cubboard, and find a Quran and two cans of bear, both open, half full, with its smell all inside this section.

Now i have been many places, e.g alcohol friendly turkey, people drink, people go to clubs, people go to mosques, but i have never seen someone disrespect the Quran like that.

Now dating or drinking itself is a disrespect to Quran philosophically but that doesn’t mean you can just ignore every other aspect of respect for the holy book.

Edit: To all those who are judging my moral grounds, Just because I love a good BJ doesnt mean i can unzip my pants in a mosque. When you equate Virtue and Sin, you find people inappropriately touching women in Mataf, holy Kabba.
