Do any of you owl enthusiasts have resource links to information on owl flight patterns?
I had a book in my cabin in Maine that showed ground perspective silhouettes of flying birds of prey, and also discussed details of how they would fly (ex: gliding, soaring, frequency of wing flaps, etc.) and I do not have access to that book right now 🥲 I think I saw a great horned owl flying out of my backyard and I got a clear view of its flight style but I cannot for the life of me find any resources or references to that information on YouTube or anywhere on the internet to compare to form a confident ID. If anybody could help by sharing references or even just sharing your own knowledge that would be great! Thank you in advance!
