Though the series Kind of got ruined by the War arc, a ridiculous amount of fillers, and the zestu ending. One of the bright spots was Gaara’s character development (especially in this scene). With not too much scream time this series did a pretty good job with at least this one side character. Gaara shedding a thug tear before the attempted murder of Sasuke showed his growth in his relationship to violence but also why he was a Kage at such a young age, one of the youngest in history.
