Need help diagnosing a thumping noise/vibration
Hello,
I have a 2012 Honda CRV (EX-L, 2.4L I4 K24A), with about 148k miles. Yesterday, I started driving and noticed a thumping feeling that I could feel through the floor of the car. I could also hear it slightly. The noise/thumping is rhythmic and increases linearly with my speed. It felt like it comes from the front right side of the car. Today, I checked the lugs to make sure they were all torqued, and they were all totally fine. I got new very nice new wheels about 3 months ago. Right now I’m thinking it could be a bad wheel bearing or CV joint, but I’m not exactly sure. I also drove the day before the noise started in lots of rain, so could it be from my rotors getting a little rusted? What do you all think this could be, and should I be safe to drive on it? Thanks so much!
