Can’t face another lesson

Only a few hrs into lessons with my instructor, the first couple of lessons we practiced starting and stopping, some left and right turns etc but for the next lesson we went to a car park we went at 2mph for two hours with me just concentrating on turning the wheel, he controlled the pedals, geers and handbrake so I literally turned the wheel. We were ignoring any road marking or anything, I was literally just steering. Given the instructor doesn’t have an accelerator and I wasn’t allowed to be using pedals there was no speed it was just at a snails pace for the entire time.

I’ve now gone a couple of weeks without lessons as I cannot face spending over 70£ for this level of boredom, it has taught me absolutely nothing. If I had mounted the pavement or went into oncoming traffic I could understand why this type of lesson was needed but I haven’t even been close to that. I feel like going out and buying a child’s ride in car and running around the bloody car park steering my plastic car, if this car park method is the way forward 🤦‍♀️
