Hoffa's Fat Pad Surgery

Had an impinged fat pad for about 2.5 years now. After an MR diagnosed it, I tried PT, taping, icing, cortisone, etc but nothing worked. Finally in Mid December got the surgery to shave out the impingement. Doctor said recovery would take about 4-6 weeks before I would be back to normal. Well two months later I am still walking with a limp and no where close to running on it again. Curious for anyone that had this surgery if you experienced any success or what your recovery time was?
