This mom needs some advice please 🙏

I (37f) have an amazing daughter (11f) and she is very into Kawaii themed everything. She's in her soft girl era and likes a little cottage core. Her esthetic is white and baby pink. She does like Hello Kitty but My Melody is her favorite. We recently got an apartment after living in hotels and Airbnb for a year, and it's time to put her room together. We are starting at ground zero basically. I grew up with Hello Kitty, I was wearing rainbow Brite and care bears and blues clues when I was her age and through high school, honestly. I was a raver kid and loved the Harajuku style. My style is my own and I don't like to have what everyone else has. Like, I can see something I like, but I have to get or create my own version of it, not get/have exactly what they have. My daughter is an artist and very creative, but she's at a stage where she wants to conform. I need to get a start on her room but she's always showing me inspiration pictures and saying she wants her room exactly like the picture and I try explaining that the room isn't some prepackaged bundle to buy, it's a collection. She just shuts down and doesn't say anything...

What I'm asking here is.... How did you create your space? Was it years of collecting and adding? When I actually look at a kawaii core room, I just see regular white furniture (dresser, bed frame, shelves, desk) and then layers of cuteness. Am I seeing it wrong? I'd like to order her furniture in the next few days, and if she doesn't give me input, I want to order something that can become what she wants.

I need some thoughts lol
