I'm gonna be honest,a good half of these characters not mourning their fallen comrades and more doesn't make them look more cool or badass,it just makes them look Iike heartless, unlikable asses.
I'm sorry but I just wanted to say that something being more "realistic" doesn't automatically mean more better written or well written or even good, and yes, real life sucks sometimes and every now and then but that's not why we read fictional stories with fictional characters and all that.
Simply being like "well it's realistic cause real life sucks" says a lot more about you as a person.
Plus soldiers in real life mourn their fallen friends and family and even literal child soldiers in Naruto treated the deaths with the series with more dignity and respect than a good 70-80% of JJK'S deaths.
"Oh its realistic cause Yuji never cared about who his parents were ",Ok..then what the fuck is the point of the plot twist? It doesn't Change or add anything to the story,Yuji nor Kenjaku really interact at all or give a shit, so what's the point of said twists?
