Inguinal hernia surgery, how much pain should I be feeling?
So I had inguinal hernia surgery with mesh, about 40 days ago, I've been cleared to move things above 20 pounds again, but I've still been getting this sharp pulling pain if I do anyhting to enthusiastically. I'm starting a internship as an election next Monday and I'm worried this will hold me back. So I guess what's the general pain level I should be feeling around now?
Edit- Thanks everyone for sharing your storys, while some were frighting and I'm sorry to anyone still struggling with pain, you were all very helpful, To me the main thing I've heard is it's all about staying active, and lots of walking lol. I personally agree with this as I've been getting more active I feel I am able to do more and it hurting less. I recommend anyone who struggling to work with the pain too start grooving and moving. πΊπΆββοΈπ also kinda left this out, but my pain might also be different, I'm only 17, not sure how that's plays out for hernias but π€·.
