loose two-ply

hello! I am new to wheel spinning (I have been spindle spinning for a while) I recently plied for the first time on the wheel and the ply came out much looser than expected, I was hoping for a tighter ply. I was plying on the slowest whorl, 6.7 on my wheel, with moderate tension. Any suggestions on what I can do differently next time? Is there a way to run it through again and get a tighter ply? thanks! (on the plus side, I learned how to chain ply with a single I didn't really have a plan for just to practice and it came out real nice).
