Does anyone know the reason of why HIM disbanded?

I remember back then they were saying something like "they had nothing to offer" if I do not recall it wrong, yet VV still continued to tour, its weird that the main songwriter still continued to tour/keep doing music without the band if this is the reason

Yes im wondering this now after 10 years, seen them once right before they disbanded thankfully
