What is the best way to cut custom pickguard?

Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m working on a custom guitar project that I’m cutting custom pickguard material for to put around my PUps. Currently the results are quite ugly because I’m using aviation snips and a hand file, and I’m unable to make intricate cuts needed to make some cooler designs. Does anyone know how I would go about making my cuts look good and not be really janky? I can use CAD but I saw online that using a laser cutter is a bad idea for celluloid. Any advice is appreciated
