Game menu keeps popping up (PC)
I'm lost trying to figure out what is causing this issue. I've got a good system (5600x, 32GB DDR4 3600, 3090, Nvme) and typically play with an Xbox One controller plugged in. I do have a Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard and a Logitech G502 mouse as well. Graphically and with frame rate (monitor is 37" Samsung curved 1440p 100hz) I have no performance issues, however while playing the game the pause menu will randomly pop up. I have to manually press ESC on the keyboard to get it to go away.
I've tried every fix I can find online to no avail. I've stopped every item in task bar that isn't needed for the game, updated all drivers, checked background processes, no antivirus or VPN, cleaned the registry of crap (CCleaner), no malware, stopped services not needed for the game or needed for Windows, run the game in Windowed mode, capped FPS at 100, verified the integrity of the files in Steam, unplugged the controller to use KB only, and even ended explorer.exe while playing. There are no stuck keys or issues with other games/programs. It's like the mouse randomly clicks outside of the game somehow so that Forza isn't the main process, even though that's not possible. I can't find anything rogue that stands out.
My buddy with a similar build and identical Windows version isn't having this issue, but it appears a bunch of people online are experiencing it as well. Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix? It's driving me nuts (no pun intended).
