Accidentally shipped to wrong address can I get the package held for pickup?

I ordered something and accidentally had it shipped to my mothers which is not safe for packages. Its supposed to arrive tomorrow but the app is saying its not in the system. If i call tomorrow morning will they be able to hold the package?
