Anyone else hate kids' instruments??
Out of the four toy xylophones we have in my classroom, only one of them makes something resembling a musical scale. And this is not like, a couple of them are out of tune for toddler abuse reasons, the manufacturers clearly just put no effort into making actual instruments. When we have the music stuff out, I love to noodle around and play stuff the kids know on the one that can make real music, but when a kid is using the one functional xylophone, I sit there pouting like a toddler that someone's using the toy I want. I need to know if I'm alone or if this is anyone else's pet peeve lol
