323i 85’ Dies under load
Hi All internet guru’s & keyboard mechanics.
Just looking for some thoughts here, bought a clean and well looked after E30 323i 1985 model.
Drove it home and took it for a drive while on my way home to show some friends. Drove beautifully and no issues.
Parked it up at home, washed it (did not wash the engine bay) & then parked inside my garage.
Went to drive it to get an inspection for heritage registration here in Australia but it died on the drive. It idles well once started. But under load / revs it ends up dying.
Replaced the fuel filter as it had no fuel in the car when i picked it and thought this might be the case. It’s has new fuel pumps / general servings done.
Anyone had something similar?
