Are victory laps allowed here? Which player did you rightfully reach for or rank higher than consensus that you subsequently got roasted for? I'll start.

I suggested BTJ would have a better rookie year & career (TBD obviously) than Nabers in this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/comments/1cztx1n/am_i_the_only_contrarian_who_thinks_btj_nabers/

I asked "Am I the only contrarian who thinks BTJ > Nabers?" Here are some of the responses:

"No, BTJ's mom does too."

"Yes, you are."

"BTJ has the better offense to be a part of and is immediately tied to a better qb. If you’re telling me you’d select BTJ over nabers in a draft though I feel that’s zagging a bit too hard"

"Malik will be the whole Giants offense and the Jags offense is crowded atm. And MHJ is MHJ."

"Lol let me guess who you drafted"

"Given that Nabers outperformed BTJ last year at LSU, this is definitely a spicier take."

"I would draft Brooks over BTJ"

"Not even Chris Simms could do that and he had BTJ as WR2 in the class"

"Chris Sims has BTJ over Marvin Harrison but not Nabers. So you are in fact alone. But you're right up there with one of the worst analysts out there."

"You sound sufficiently high sir"

"Call your shot but this seems like a wild take. I will say, Thomas is currently connected to a better QB and offense. I don't think its a crazy take to think he could be better year one, or at least put up better stats. But in a vacuum, Thomas is good and all, but Nabers is just a whole different dude."

"Even if you believe BTJ is the better player, Nabers has virtually no competition for targets compared to BTJ who has to compete with Engram, Kirk and Gabe."

"Are you an lsu fan? If so, are you blind?"

"Uhh yeah man lol. I cannot justify the 23rd pick over the 6th pick in very good WR class"

"You are on an island all by yourself!"

"Go watch TLaw throw a deep ball and come back and tell me you think BTJ should be over Nabers."

I did have some supporters, however:

"100% agree. You are someone with 👀 and not just 👂👂listening to the hype. Also, look at BTJ’s redzone targets and toe taps. The redzone receptions look like pro-style routes and always with two feet down. Look how many times Nabers makes a catch and only gets one foot down."

"No, I have thought this for a while. There’s a few of us"

"This sub is the wrong place to express this but I agree. I love BTJ's game."

"I also agree… justifications I have are overall landing spot quality (I know it’s crowded) and watching highlight tape I think he jumps off the tape, also his combine metrics are nuts, bigger stronger faster than nabers from a testing standpoint. My gut tells me I want BTJ"

Edit: Buried in the comments, here was my justification:

"This is an oversimplification, but every Nabers highlight I see he is in the slot against either the nickle or the safety, not stud outside CBs. He is wide open because of blown coverages or horrible techniques. I don't conclusively see him getting the better of elite corners in straight-up, contested go-routes. BTJ played more outside, predictable routes against stud corners and still won. And his measurables look better on paper. But what do I know"
