50/50 in financial matters after marriage

What do yall think of it ? What if one’s salary is higher than the other one. How will they do 50/50 then ? And if one of them earns enough money to lead a pretty much perfect life for both, is it necessary for the other one to work as well ? Is studying in a reputed university really matters in the long run ? Does it make any affect on getting jobs that’ll pay pretty good amount of remuneration ? Confused about future :))
