If early end game Okun damage is disappointing you, try slotting in Splintering Energy
I was doing pit 50 in 5 minutes with a build focusing on ball lightning doing damage. I put Splintering Energy on my amulet, swapped points out of Ball and into LS and did pit 50 in under 3 minutes. Build plays almost the same, just run around spamming Ball, but the LS have way better AoE so that part was a big plus, but of course the big downside is when Unstable Currents drops, so definitely relying heavy on Orange Herald.
For reference I'm at paragon 100, was using a modified Okun starter build by Lurkin. No masterworking, only the merchant available witch powers, no witch gems, a couple GAs, lot of missing affixes, no Tibaults, and I had to switch up some of the passives for better defense. So I'm definitely talking early end game, I don't know how this will pan out as I progress. I know I'm leaving a little power on the table by forgetting to swap in Shredding Blades (was on ammy) and possibly by not using some of the conjuration paragon/glyphs. My Splintering Energy aspect is pretty good, 10% off cap. But in general, aspects seem much easier this season.
Other classes are crushing much harder than us, but I'm really enjoying the Okun gameplay, and it looks like there should be plenty of power here for torment 4 and leveling glyphs to or at least close to 100, so I'm very happy.
