Looking for some tips on planning a trip to Turkey. Any recommendations?

Hello everyone!

My partner and I are planning a trip to Turkey this coming April.

I would appreciate any tips from those of you who have visited. Here are a few questions I have:

1. Should I book the entire trip through a travel agency? If so, can you recommend any agencies?

2. Alternatively, should I handle the ticketing and visa processing through an agency and manage the rest of the bookings myself?

3. Is it a good idea to hire a car while we are there?

4. Regarding hot air balloon reservations: should I book them in advance, or can I arrange it once we arrive in Cappadocia?

5. Any other tips and recommendations for our trip would be greatly appreciated.
