OP's first day at gym! 20F. 160cm. 45kg. A DISASTER!!
Disclaimer : Myself 20F, 160cm, 45kg. Underweight, malnourished, possibly anemic, and dealing with anorexia. Just the thought of eating makes me nauseous most of the time.
My first day at the gym. The beginning stretches were easy, jumping jacks were manageable, and mountain climbers were okay-ish. But then came squats. This is when my legs stopped responding.
And burpees? I couldn’t even complete the first jump; my legs gave out entirely, I was glad I didn’t outright collapse.
Now I've come to the realisation, just how weak and pathetic my condition has become. It’s upsetting but also motivating. My first goal is to increase my body weight and build some strength.
Surprisingly, today didn’t leave me with any aftereffects (yet), but my trainer warned that “we’d be dying tomorrow.” PS went with my friend, she was amazing.
