Is ChatGPT Plus worth it?

I mostly use it for coding (very little coding experience), ideas, Excel, writing reports for work, Excel automation, and a few things like that. I want to do more automation and it sounds like I need to build a gpt for that myself - but is it worth the $26.99? I know that there are other AIs that are cheaper but I don't think they are as good. Any thoughts, advice, of recommendations would help.
