Have had neck crepitus for years and compulsively click my neck. Will weed/THC still work the same?

I know this might sound like a weird question, but i have lots of crepitus in my neck and i suspect some kind of cervical instability. I want to know if weed would still work the same for me, i have been worrying that i can no longer enjoy the effects of weed because of whatever is going on.

I had a neck x ray a few years ago which came back clear, and i had the crepitus back then, however i have done the movements much more since then. I just want to know if in the mean time while i get this sorted with my doctors, if weed will still be effective. I noticed im coughing a lot more from weed now than i ever used to, and i just don't know if this stuff with my and back like the movements i do have affected the weed. I crack my own back and my neck by tilting it around and it clicks, like crepitus.

Like i said, will weed still work the same for someone going through this? does weed work on anyone regardless? while i wait for my appointments can i still partake normally and enjoy the normal effects of the weed? even if i dont exactly know whats wrong, should the weed still be affecting me the exact same? can someone explain how they know? even if something was wrong with my neck, would weed still get me high? do people smoke with these kinds of issues? let me know
