Medal Mounting

During the summer, I went to Blackdown CTC, there I met the lovely chap who runs Ottawa Medals, there I was also awarded the ANAVETS medal of Merit, and so I asked him about mounting medals. Turns out there is almost no one in my area of RCSU NW that mounts medals, and shipping them off to Ottawa or Calgary for mounting was far too pricey, not to mention the cost of the medals themselves. That’s when it sprung on me, if there’s demand for medal mounting, and no one doing it, I might as well learn to do it myself.

Thanks to the support of a few other cadets who saw what I was doing and thought it was neat, I’ve decided to actually start doing it as a “job”. So if any of you folks are in need of court mounting medals, I can now be found on instagram as @perimetermedals. So far I’ve only posted three of the sets I’ve done, but I’m hoping to get more orders soon, and am stocking up in preparation of ACR season.
