Temporarily visiting friends from NV

I own a MAC1014 Shotgun with a 5 Round capacity and a “Assault Weapon” (Semi-automatic AR-15 with a telescopic stock, pistol grip, and removable, 30 round magazine) and want to bring them into California to go shooting. Are there any specific laws that would prevent me from legally bringing them in? I’ve read conflicting information so clarity, or sources to look into would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 🙏
