Nexstar Stories That Are Just Basically Paid Ads?

You all were so helpful in teaching me about breaking news alerts and what the behind the scenes looks like the other day.

As mentioned, I’m not in the industry, but I’m curious about a “story” like this. It’s my local Nexstar station hyping up the reopening of a gas station.

A story like this… Is this pushed through and originated through an interaction with the sales department? It just feels like a giant commercial to me.
