My landlord (and neighbour) is a wanker… Literally. What should I do?

I live in a row of three terraced houses, and mine is the one in the middle. So I share walls with both neighbours.

My landlord owns one of the houses next to mine, but for most of the past three years, he’s barely lived there. Over the last year, though, he’s been staying there more often. He’s a single guy with no wife and seemingly not many friends. He rarely shows up, and when he does, he doesn’t really make conversation.

That wouldn’t be an issue, except that recently, every Sunday night, he watches TV at full volume until late. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, before going to bed, he starts moaning like a porn actor who’s been edging for hours.

This wouldn’t be such a big deal if I didn’t live with my wife. As you can imagine, this is not something I want her to witness. Luckily, she’s been fast asleep when it happens—so far. But I don’t know how long my luck will last. And honestly, I’m the one stuck listening to it, and I’ve had enough.

I wouldn’t even be posting this if it weren’t so bizarre and uncomfortable. What do you guys think I should do? Try having a conversation with him or just knock the wall down with my bare fists?
