Any singles thinking of leaving w/o close family?
I think I am asking for guidance or advice here.
I am single, no kids, however I do have a parent and siblings that live in the U.S. We are all adults but we help each other out, can rely on each other, and support when we can.
I am researching which country to move to if American political and social fabric completely break apart. I have my own household as a single person, and my immediate family has 2 other households of their own.
I can't expect them to sell all their furniture, cash out financial accounts, and do all the other things that come with a move. That would be too much coordination and they all have their business and lives to tend to.
But if any of you are in a similar situation, are you taking "extended" immediate family with you? Are they in your plans? Am I just too emshed with my family? Looking for some perspective because this is a stressful situation to think about and possibly follow through on.
