They always fail the empathy test

I always let them know a little detail here and there about being in the hospital taking care of a family member, or just dealing with a health issue myself and they always fail to care, fail to be empathetic and ultimately want nothing to do with you, as someone with a chronic disease i have to make sure hes at least able to dial 911 if i faint one day or just need help, they really think they deserve a perfect human being without flaws and how much of an inconvenience it would be that im not...lost all hope after reading the news that husbands abandon their wives when they get cancer..how can they be such animals?
