Grammar correction

There is a lot of English pedantry in this field, some instances of which often amuses me. Quite often it’s simply stylistic preference, and I’ve noticed those with… not the best grammar will actually go above and beyond with the corrections.

Anyone have any good anecdotes on this one?

I know multiple people who quit the field because they were done circling back for little things that didn’t add to or change the overall meaning of their documents. This would make it a stylistic choice, and we all have our own preferences when it comes down to it.
